Day 126: 5-Star Rating

I was up until almost 5am this morning playing Final Fantasy XIII.  But it was all worth it.  I finally finished the game!  After having the game longer than owning a PS3, I finally did it!  Before I even ordered the PS3, I bought the last copy Wal-Mart had of the game.  It, along with Catherine, were the main reasons I bought the PS3.  Besides, I couldn't justify buying PS3 games if I had no intention of actually getting a PS3 at some point.

Anyway, I beat the game.  Using Snow, Hope, and Fang, I managed to get a 5-Star Rating on the final battle and earn the Superstar trophy.  And now, it is officially marked off of the list.

I worked some more on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  As much as I played, I didn't get a lot accomplished.  I mainly just traveled around because I wasn't able to fast travel to where I needed to go.

And now I am working on Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.  I am about to leave Traverse Town with Donald and Goofy, and make my way to worlds unknown.  Well, I know what worlds there are, but at this moment Sora doesn't.  Anyway, I like the new battle music.  And how the boss looks so different compared to the one in the original game.

Well, I am off to play some more.  After having stayed up all that time yesterday, I am not tired at all right now.  I will be up awhile.  If you're online, you're more than welcome to hit me up and chat.  So, for the coming day, enjoy the games you play!

Day 120: Where does he put it all?

I spent a huge portion of the day playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  While I was playing and leveling up, a though crossed my mind.  Where does my character put all of the things he carries?  I mean, other than his bow, quiver, and what equipment he wears, none of it shows.  And considering he has a lot of potions, alchemy supplies, food, and books as well as backup weapons and armor, the backpack needed to carry all of it must be massive.  Especially considering he is carrying 210 pounds with him.  I mean, when a bandit comes up to him demanding he turn over all his gold, my character can't just go and ask the bandit to give him a minute so he can dig it out of his pockets.  You know, maybe that's why the bandit is coming up to him demanding the gold and threatening to kill him.  After all, what threat is someone who is carrying so much stuff that he can't see where he's going?

Right now, my character is in Cheydinhal trying to complete a quest from the Thieves Guild.  I am also part of the Mages Guild now, and already have one recommendation (Bruma) in the bag.  He is currently at Level 4.

Anyway, back to my original point. It isn't just the character in this game that journeys without some sort of luggage.  Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid somehow has guns and hundreds or thousands of rounds of ammunition on his person near the end of the game.  Where does he put that Stinger Missile launcher?  Not to mention the PSG-1, FAMAS, and all of those rations.  And what about the characters from Final Fantasy games?  99 of every item available and yet none of them have some kind of case or bag to hold them.

I would love to see a game where the party has a visible backpack or something containing their belongings.  Something I'd like to see more of is the changing of appearance due to different equipment on the characters.  Bethesda is on top of that.  I wish it would be a part of JRPGs.  It just isn't enough that the weapon changes.  If they allow the weapon to change, then the equipment should also change.

Day 119: I am an idiot sometimes.

I learned today that I am able to go back up the elevator in Xenosaga Episode I without having to battle all of those Gnosis again.  That is great news!  It made getting my butt kicked by the final boss not as frustrating.  I tried several times today to win, but still couldn't do it.  Each time I made it to the final fight, but I lost when a sudden Dark Omen attack occurred.  I never had a chance to prepare for the blast.  If I could have guarded, I could probably have won.

I have made it to Castelia City in Pokémon White.  I finally got out of the woods in Pinwheel Forest.  Now, I will challenge the Gym, and hopefully move on quickly.  I am almost to the point where I stopped playing the first time.  As for my Pokémon, I have evolved a couple.  I have Servine now, as well as a Musharna.  There are also that a few should be evolving soon.

And then I spent several hours playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  I did a couple quests, but nothing pertaining to the main story.  I joined the Thieves Guild.  Right now, my character is only at Level 2 with the Assassin job class.  I really like the experience system in Oblivion compared to that of Skyrim.  I think when I continue playing it (whenever that will be), I will try and work on the main story.

However, I am really wanting to get Xenosaga Episode I finished first.  I just have to be even more defensive than I already am.

Day 117: Dust Collecting

Today I played a little of Final Fantasy XIII-2.  I managed to defeat the flan-thing that Snow is fight when you first get to 300 A.F.  I somehow stuck it out long enough to defeat it.  And it was on the first try as well.  After that, I got two artefacts, and discovered two new times.  And then I discovered yet another new time when I went to the Coliseum.

I think that will be my main game for tomorrow.  I also want to try Xenosaga Episode I once more.  Maybe after these last few days of not thinking about it will allow me to win finally.

I am also starting yet another attempt at finishing the main story of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Other than that, I spent the day sleeping.  I really need to try and catch up on my sleep.  Since I am still in the Pinwheel Forest, sleep will be the only thing I catch tonight.  Anyway, that's all from me for now.  So, for the coming day, enjoy the games you play!

Day 59: Gaming in my Dreams

I wasn't feeling too well today, so I spent a big part of the day sleeping.  I think the late-night dungeon crawls in Skyrim are what's causing it.  Last night I began the Bards College story.  I went to Solitude to continue the main quests, but I didn't like what the quest was once I learned more about it.  I also met with Sheogorath and completed the quest with him.  I like that they kept the same voice for Skyrim that they had for Oblivion.

The only other game I played since the last entry was Jak 2.  I am currently 6% complete with the game.  I will have to switch it over to my other television the next time I play it because there are a lot of dark shadowy areas, and I can't see to play well.  If the TV had a way to change the brightness (it's really old) then I wouldn't have this problem.

Anyway, I am going to keep this entry short.  My eyes hurt and I want to get plenty of sleep tonight.  So, for the coming day, enjoy the games you play!

Day 55: I remembered to Save today!

Today's game was once again Skyrim.  I was determined to complete the Companions quests.  After two restarts (one due to death, the other due to a deer crossing my path weirdly and freezing the game), I managed to get past the point that I have had trouble with and somehow managed to become the leader of the Companions.  I also removed my werewolf status while I was in the tomb.  I never used the power, so it was kind of a waste to have it.  I only got the power because I wanted to continue the story of the Companions.

After I left the tomb, I enabled all of the quests I had started.  I chose to work on the one closest to my current destination.  That one was to explore the Mages College in Winterhold.  After some initial trouble on how to get to the place (because I am horrible with that map), I finally found the College and begun my journey at unraveling the secrets the old building holds.  I really like the way the Magic School quest is done in this game compared to Oblivion.  I am not having to travel all over the place just to gain entrance to the main building.  I don't have to do stupid fetch quests at places all over the country in order to get permission to go the main building.  It's all right there.  And of course the drama with the two Elven women is there, that's reminiscent of any school.  Only here, there's also a possible spy, claims of leaders not doing their job well, mysterious orbs showing up. and undead trying to kill me.

My character is Level 21 or 22 now.  I forget to check before I shut off the PS3.  During the play session, I received two trophies.  The first for completing the Companions story, and the other for starting the Mages College story.  The skills I have the highest amount in are Sneak and Destruction.  I also work on the Illusion, Alteration, and Conjuration skills when I am traveling from place to place.

One thing I learned today was how to actually gain access to more Words of Power.  I didn't know that you had to press the square button in order to link a dragon soul with the Words.  I had been killing dragons, and not using the souls.  I thought that each dragon was linked with a specific word, and I just hadn't killed the dragons linked with the words I had known yet.  Anyway, I can now use like ten different shouts, and only one (Unrelenting Force) is completed.

Day 35: Like one of EXO's songs.

I had Osu! on for nearly twelve hours today.  But I only played for maybe fifteen minutes.  I usually load up the program so I could listen to the music.  It's like a fun way to play music.  You can play music, and you can PLAY music!  And with it linked with my Raptr account, I am now in the Top 3.0% of players online.

I spent most of my time playing Skyrim.  I completed quests here and there.  I am trying to complete as much as possible.  I want the experience, because I am not the strongest physically.  Being a magic user has some disadvantages.  Like having to alter defense stats in order to prevent death when a giant hits you with his club.  I don't know why he got upset with me.  All I did was try to kill him.  He couldn't have been hurt too much when I shot him with an arrow.

I also became a werewolf today in the game.  I personally only did it to unlock more quests and to help find a cure for it.  That's also why I sometimes become a vampire in Oblivion, to find a cure.

Then, I spent some of this afternoon playing Need for Speed and Sly 2 with the kid I tutor.  My brother was watching him, and he wanted to play video games with me.

Day 34: A Grown Man Catching Butterflies

I am going to rant a little to start this entry.  I have only one problem playing against others in Osu!.  Only one.  I can't stand the people who can't decide what song they want to play.  They'll choose it and set it up, but then they'll change it.  It is so annoying!  I get the beatmap to start downloading, and then the person changes the song.  And they do it so many times!  And when they finally stop, I have ten beatmaps all trying to download at once.  Then they get so impatient because I am holding up the game because my computer is bogged down with songs.

Not only that, but the game only lets you download so many maps at a time.  And if you reach your limit, you have to wait for so long to get the chance to try again.  The only thing you can do is hope that they end up choosing a song you have, try and convince them to wait, or leave the room.

That's why I hate hosting a room when I play multiplayer.  I'd rather download a beatmap that someone else has than have other players have to download one.  And the language difference also hinders me trying to tell them to choose one song and stick to it.  There should be a way to report the people who can't make up their mind and choose one song.

Anyway, I am not even playing anymore and I still have three maps to download.  At least if the songs come up again, I will have them ready.

I spent most of the day playing Skyrim.  I decided to not venture in the spooky ice cave, because the monsters in there were really difficult to defeat.  I instead made my way back to where I started.  And once again, I got lost.  I don't like to fast travel because you lose out on experience and increasing your skills.  So I walked the whole way.  When I finally reached my destination, I set off to complete quests that were closer to where I was.  There will be no more wild expeditions to places that are so far away.  I will gradually expand my travels and learn the lay of the land that way.

Right now, I am a Level 6 Breton with a magic/stealth specialization.  I mainly go with magic attacks, and use archery and sneaking only when necessary.  I am also not using armor.  I am clothed, but only with magic robes.  It is much different than how I usually play Skyrim.  Normally I play as a strict sneaking specialist, because restoration magic is not needed as much in this game.  Since you gradually regain health, healing spells are not a priority.  When I would play Oblivion, my restoration skill is always the highest of my skills.

I am planning on playing until I become tired tonight.  Lately, I have been up until nearly three in the morning.  So I should be up for a while yet.  If you see me on PSN, feel free to chat with me.  That's all from me.  For the coming day, enjoy every game you play!

Day 29: Broken Files

Today I was going to try and work on the main story quests for Oblivion, but the worst thing happened.  My save file wouldn't load.  I tried several times to get it to load, but it wouldn't.  So, I deleted the file.  It's too bad, because I was nearly finished the main story questline.  Oh well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be yet.  I can always start again.

I also tried to make some progress with Final Fantasy XIII.  I haven't played it since June, I think.  I nearly beat the next boss, but I failed at the last moment.  And because it took so long to get to that point, I didn't bother trying again.

After that, I began the epilogue of Prince of Persia.  I really like the how the story continues after the events of Prince of Persia.  I didn't like how the game ended, so the epilogue is redeeming itself.

I also finally reached Castelia City in Pokemon White.  It's such a big city, and I love how the town is laid out.  It's so much different compared to the places in the GBA versions of Pokemon.  Right now, I am just exploring the city, trying to bring all of the dancing trainers together to form a group.  I only have one left to find.

I also put in some time in Osu! today.  Currently, I am ranked 1,040 in the U.S., and 20,985 in the world in osu!mania.  I am also in the Top 4.1% of gamers who recognize Osu! in the Raptr profiles.

I have a file of The Ballad of Gay Tony that I need to finish, so I am probably going to work on that tonight until I go to bed and tomorrow.  I may catch a few multiplayer matches while I have Grand Theft Auto IV playing.  So I know what I will be doing tomorrow.  And so, for the coming day, enjoy all the games you play!

Day 23: Rolling up some balls.

I caught a Tympole today when I played Pokemon White. It is so CUTE! I caught it, and then stopped playing. I hope that when I see its evolved form that it stays cute. I would hate to see it become some big ugly bullfrog or something. If it does, I think I may cry, or never ever battle with it. One thing I noticed is that unless you level grind for hours, you really have to listen to the hint-givers and go where they suggest you go in order to win. Before I battled Cilan, I was told to go to the Dreamyard and train. That's when I was given Pansear and the battle was a piece of cake. Now I am told to catch a Fighting-type Pokemon in order to combat the Leader's Normal-types. The trainer battles in the museum were super tough. That's why I followed the advice and I am now looking for a Fighting-type Pokemon. That's when I caught Tympole.

I am working on traveling back to Cloud Ruler Temple to give Martin the book in Oblivion. I also completed a few other quests in Cheydinhall as well.  I received a recommendation from the Mages Guild.  And saved the painter dude from the painted trolls in the painting world.  I found incriminating evidence against the Captain of the Guard.  Right now, I am in some cave on a weapons delivery for the Fighters Guild.  I have done this quest a couple times already today.  The first time I completed it, but the people I delivered the weapons to ended up dead.  It looks bad for my reputation, so I reloaded the file.  The second time I tried it I ended up protecting them too much and didn't look after myself.  I ended up dead.  That's even worse.  So I stopped playing and moved on to something else

And I looked up game completion times online this evening. I wanted a short game that I owned that I could play and post about in my gaming blog. The shortest game the person listed was one I owned.  That game was Katamari Damacy.  And I must say, it really is a short game.  I am already almost finished with it.  I am just doing the Make A Star levels, and in the hour that I played, I have already completed 6 stars.  I believe the constellations are optional, so I am not doing those.  I need to get more games completed, so researching the short games and completing those are key right now.  The longer games are fine to work on, but if I don't add some short games in the mix then I will not see results in this challenge until the end of it.

Day 22: Working on saving the world.

Today I mainly played Oblivion.  I worked on the main story quests.  Right now, I am on my way to retrieve the Amulet of Kings from the Mythic Dawn cult.  I also joined the Dark Brotherhood, and completed a couple kills for them.  Unfortunately, I forgot that I had contracted Porphyric Hemophilia and I went to sleep.  When I woke up, I was a vampire.  And now I am stuck with it because I am nowhere near Skingrad to start the quest to fix it.  I hate being a vampire.  It makes my character so ugly, and it makes him look like he's 500 years old.  I think I will just have to deal with it, because I want to complete the game and I can't be wasting time trying to find a cure.  Also, I kind of want to know what happens if I don't feed regularly.

The only other game I played today was osu!.  It is also the game I playing right now as I type this entry.  I even hosted a room for a while this evening.  Right now, I am in a room that is playing a lot of anime songs.  I always end up in the middle of the group when we finish.  I don't watch a lot of shows the songs are in, and therefore I don't have the songs on my computer.  I think it may surprise some people when I perform well on songs I have never played before.  But then again, it probably doesn't.

Tomorrow I am going to work on completing some games.  I can't resort to Oblivion every time I get bored.  I should be playing games that I can complete quickly.  And an open-world game like Oblivion is not one of those games.

Day 21: Sickly

For the first half of the day, I played Pokemon White.  I arrived in Nacrene City, and I am ready to attack the Gym.  All I know about the Gym is that the Leader uses Normal-type Pokemon.  That's kind of nice considering that three of my main party are also Normal-type.  I have nine Pokemon at my disposal, so I could always change the layout.  Here's what I have:

Woobat - Level 10
*Pansear - Level 13
*Patrat - Level 13
*Lillipup - Level 13
*Oshawott - Level 14
*Purloin - Level 14
*Audino - Level 14

Those with asterisks are my party members.  Actually, those six are also the first six that I received.  Other than switching them around within the group to change who is brought out first in battle, these six have been at my side the whole time.  My favorite Pokemon in battle is Audino, because she is my tank.  She can take a hit, and also deal a hit as well.  Design-wise, it is still Lillipup.  She is so CUTE!

The second half of the day I played more Oblivion.  It may not seem like much considering the amount of time I played, but I only completed five more quests today.  I have 21 quests in active status.  I am a little disappointed that I only completed a handful today, especially after having played so much of it today.  But once those active quests finish, I will be so much closer to completing the game.

I made a spur of the moment gaming video last night after I posted my entry.  It only makes sense to feature it here as well.

I have been watching the anime this song is from, and when I saw that there were osu! beatmaps already made for it, I jumped at the opportunity to play them and record a video of it.  At the time of the recording, I ranked 37th for the song worldwide.  Now that a day has gone by, I am now in 59th worldwide.  I am going to try and change that.

1st Try:  I advanced to 47th Place.  Let's go again.
2nd Try: I failed to even reach my best score, I finished in 50th.  One more time.
3rd Try: Again, I failed to beat my score.  This time coming in 48th Place.

Anyway, it is a really impressive score and accuracy percentage for myself.  My best for the song is 99.50%.  I only missed the beat on one note, but it wasn't even a total miss.  Oh well, I can always try again later.

Day 20: Dreaming in the Dreamyard

I played two games today.  The first was The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  I completed a few quests and even advanced the main quest line some.  I am currently in Chorrol at Level 12.  I have completed 42 quests out of the more than 200 quests in the game.  Of course, I should just go and do only the main story quests.  That would technically give me the completion of the game.

Anyway, I finally finished the Meridia quest; then because I had to cure a disease, I went in to Skingrad to heal.  That's when I joined the Mages Guild and completed the Glarthir quest.  After that, I delivered the Amulet of Kings to Weynon Priory.  Then, I worked on joining the Fighters Guild and receiving the Chorrol recommendation at the Mages Guild there.  That's where I am at in the game right now.  I am waiting for Earana to translate the book so I can steal it back from her and give it to Teekeus for my recommendation.  After that, I think I will go and work on the main quests some more.  Or maybe since it will be Sunday, I should go and do the Dark Brotherhood quests.  There's nothing that says celebrate the holy day more than some fake computer generated assassinations.  I also have lots of stolen goods to take to Ongar in Bruma.  Then I get a better standing in the Thieves Guild.

I also received the first Gym Badge in Pokemon White today.  I have to say that the difficulty level of this game is much higher than FireRed, LeafGreen, or Sapphire.  Normally, I can get the first badge easily.  But this Gym battle proved tough.  I had five Pokemon, and I only finished the match with two of them.  I was fighting Cilan (since my starter was Oshawott).  Right now, I am in the Dreamyard with Bianca, getting ready to move on in the game.

Tomorrow I will continue to work on completing the big list of games.  I don't have a specific plan of what I will play, but I do know that I will play as much as possible tomorrow.  And until then, have fun playing whatever it is you play!

Day 19: I just can't decide.

I had one of those days where I just couldn't get motivated enough to stick to one game today.  I started with Pokemon White, but when I got to the first gym, I stopped playing.  I have four Pokemon now.  Other than that, there isn't a lot to say about the game.  The moves the Pokemon have are all pretty basic still.  Nothing that you don't see in the other games.  My Lillipup has picked up two items so far.  That's cool.  I really like that about Zigzagoon and Meowth as well.

Then I tried playing Grand Theft Auto IV.  Anymore, I play the multiplayer.  There wasn't a lot of activity today, so I didn't play long.  It's just not fun when it is just you and someone else trying to kill each other in a deathmatch.  And when there is still 58 minutes left on the clock, you don't play long.

And in Oblivion, I grew to Level 10.  It wasn't anything special.  I left the Shivering Isles, and returned to work on the main quest.  And then I got sidetracked and went and did the quest for Meridia.  I completed the quest, it wasn't difficult.  I was almost back to the statue when the game froze.  I decided to not play any more after that.  Luckily, the game autosaves a lot.  So it won't be too frustrating going back to the statue.

The plan for tomorrow is to finish at least one game I have a save file for.  It's a big list, and I can't remember everything that I have on the list.  So, until then, have fun playing whatever it is you choose to play!

Day 14: Madgod's Blessings

Today was another day filled with playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  I tried playing other games, but I just couldn't stay interested in them long enough to continue playing them.  So this entry will be short, in that I will only be writing about what I did in Oblivion.

Today, I basically finished the main questline of the Shivering Isles.  I chose to become the Duke of Mania.  Then I easily defeated all the foes in my path to become Sheogorath.  And that's all.

I guess it was shorter than I thought.  I don't want to go into too much detail just in case there are people who haven't played the game or the Shivering Isles expansion.

I would say that I plan to work on FireRed and The Adventure of Link, but chances are I won't.  I am just really into Oblivion right now.  The one thing that holds true for Oblivion is that I always get bored with it.  I will get bored with closing Oblivion gates or fetch quests that I will stop playing it and move on to something that I will most likely not complete.

What I should do is have someone only give me access to one video game.  Have this person hide or lock up the rest of the collection and only give me something else to play when the end credits are rolling.

Day 13: Cheese for Everyone!

The title of this entry is probably my favorite quote from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  Today, I played Oblivion all day.  From the time I woke up until right before starting this post.  It's just been a save the world from daedric princes and other evil baddies.  More specifically, saving the realm of Sheogorath from the Greymarch.  I have been working on completing all of the quests in the Shivering Isles all day.  Currently, my character is standing in the church place after lighting the torch.

I broke down and bought a video game today.  I bought Pokemon White, and I shouldn't have.  I just really wanted to play a DS Pokemon game again.  I played Diamond last year, but it was a borrowed copy and I had to return it.  I will be glad to trade Pokemon with my friends again.

But my eBay journey didn't stop there today.  I actually put three of my games up for sale/auction.  If you are interested, I will post the links below.

Days 10 and 11: No Internet equals More Time for Gaming

First, I apologize for not posting an entry yesterday.  When I woke up Wednesday morning, my modem was giving me a YLOD (Yellow Light of Death).  I had no idea that my modem had yellow lights.  So I called the phone company and after determining that my modem was indeed dead, they shipped a new one out to me.  And I received it just a couple hours ago, after the person I spoke to said it would arrive tomorrow.  I guess they really like my money each month.

I learned a couple things during my time without Internet service.  First, the world still turns without Internet service.  Second, I need a working modem for my PS3 to connect to the Internet.  I thought that maybe I could just bypass the modem by directly connecting the PS3 to the phone line.  It didn't work.

I also learned that I had a lot more time playing video games by not being on the Internet so much.  And so, I spent a majority of my time playing video games.

I played and completed a game I had never played before yesterday.  I played Ed, Edd n Eddy: The Mis-Edventures, and completed the entire game.  As I said before, I had never played it before; so I had no idea what it was about.  I assumed it would be about the characters' journey to find jaw breakers (which seemed to be a main staple in the show's plot), and cause a lot of trouble while doing so.

For its time, it was pretty nice graphically.  I liked how they included animated scenes along with the CG gameplay.  Gameplay was pretty simple, seeing as how I was able to finish the entire game in a few short hours.  I liked how they made use of each of the three main characters, and gave each of them their own special ability and weapons.  My favorite character from both the show and the game is Edd.  In the game, he was the only character to actually leave the group and venture off on his own.  I liked that.

My only problem with the game was that it was such a short game.  It only had eight levels, and each were easy to get through.  I do see why the developers did that.  Since their audience was a younger demographic, they have to set the difficulty lower than what a game for teens or adults would be set for.

After that, I decided to start on a playthrough of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.  It is going to be a game that will take a long time to complete, even if I were to just stick with the main story questline.  Of course, I don't want to do just the main quest for this game.  I have already become Grand Champion of the Arena, and I am also a member of both the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild.  I am playing as a Nord Healer.  It's not a typical class for a Nord character, but I rarely play to the types best suited for the races.  I did however go away from my normal Breton race to a Nord one.  So that's different than usual.

Right now, my character is standing in front of the doorway to the Shimmering Isles.  I am not sure if I want to go in or not.  I just have so much I could do that I can't decide.  Other than that, I have to go to Weynon Priory and deliver the Amulet, and to Cheydinhal for the Dark Brotherhood, and sell my stolen loot to Ongar in Bruma, and a whole bunch of other things.

As for the playthroughs for both The Adventure of Link and Pokemon FireRed, they have stagnated.  It's not that I don't want to play them, because I do; it's just that TAoL is so difficult, and FireRed is a game that I have played so much that the story is stale for me.  Although, now that I know there are more Pokemon in FireRed than what I originally thought, I am kinda psyched about playing it.  I had no idea that Ho-oh, Lugia, Entei, Suicune, and Raikou were obtainable in the game.  And that there were areas other than the Sevii Islands and Kanto Region.  I really want to see those areas and those Pokemon!

I am planning on working on The Adventure of Link this weekend.  I can't let the second dungeon defeat me.  That is what the third dungeon is supposed to do.  Other than that, I want to work on some of the game files I have on my PS3 that are unfinished.  There are quite a few on there just taking up space on my hard drive.  Not only will I count them on the completed list, but I can then get rid of them to make room for the other PS3 games I want to play.
